The Line ASSIST is a device that enables automatic and parallel driving of a tractor or a self-propelled platform along the rows in an orchard or vineyard. Thanks to this solution, the user can drive without having to control the steering wheel.

Designation

The Line Assist assistant supports the work of the tractor or self-propelled platform operator, reducing the need to control the route.

The device finds many applications in vineyards and orchards.

The use of the Line Assist system improves work, i.e. spraying, mowing, aggregation in inter-rows, fruit harvesting, tree cutting, assembly of scaffolding and protective nets.

During night driving, the optical sensor provides greater detection of the environment than the human eye. The device is a stand-alone set or can be a supplement to other products, i.e. GOtrack remote control.

The location of the main element of the system, which is the optical sensor, is the mask or front of the machine and in its axis.

Turning is performed by controlling the electro-hydraulic valves of the steering system.

The Basic model is designed for use during inter-row travel with a low speed of up to 5 km/h and the expected accuracy of centering the vehicle between the rows up to approx. 10 cm.

Line ASSIST Pro

Line ASSIST Pro is a device designed for work performed with a tractor along with implements, i.e. weeders for mechanical weed control, mowers, crown saws, defoliation machines.

Turning is carried out by the drive of the steering wheel.

The Pro model is designed for inter-row applications with speeds ranging from low to high up to 15 km/h and an expected centering accuracy of up to approx. 2 cm between the rows.

Purpose

The device has been developed to increase the precision of driving tractors and self-propelled platforms during treatments carried out in row crops.

A wide range of applications is found during the operation of the tractor with attached machines during spraying, mowing grass, aggregation under the crown. The system is suitable for use with self-propelled platforms and fruit harvesters.

Pruning

Driving assistant automatically controls the angle of the wheels when driving along one row or between two rows. It works successfully in winter when there are no leaves on the trees, the only requirement is the appropriate density of tree crowns.

Harvesting

Fruit harvesting using combine harvesters can be improved by automating the position of the machine between the rows while driving. The optical sensor monitors the space in front of the moving machine and introduces corrections to the control of the turning valves.

Anti-hail nets installation

Driving the platform along the rows at a constant speed and centrally between the rows is possible thanks to the driving assistant. The user can also correct the position of the machine relative to the center of the row and change the driving track by introducing a correction of +/- 20 cm depending on the width of the plantings.

Mechanical
weeding

Under-crown aggregation is a precise task requiring the operator to concentrate and divide his attention on steering the tractor and controlling the cultivator. Thanks to the driving assistant, the operator does not have to focus on steering the tractor, the system will automatically control the direction of travel.
